ORPHAN GRAIN TRAIN
OGT is an all volunteer organization which was founded in 1992. Our mission is to serve and provide worldwide humanitarian help and relief . Our Maryland Branch currently ships 40 foot containers with medical supplies, food, Bibles, clothing, school supplies, etc., to those in need. Our domestic shipments, to name a few, include warm clothing to Appalachia as well as relief for those who are suffering in the wake of natural disasters. In Nicaragua, an invalid receives a wheelchair, shoes are sent to Haiti for children as well as adults, a sewing school in Cameroon is given sewing materials, or a shipment of shunts is sent to Kyrgyzstan; each shunt saves a child's life. Along with many requested items, hundreds of pillow case dresses and equipment to open a medical clinic has been sent to Ghana.
We have a local warehouse so we may better serve those in need and ultimately spread the Gospel to many who have not heard the Good News. To learn more about Orphan Grain Train go to www.ogt.org and click on the Maryland Branch for local information.
