The Altar Guild serves by making sure that the Sanctuary is maintained and set-up for the times and seasons of the church year, preparing communion for the three services, light cleaning of the altar area, filling the oil candles and maintaining the altar linens. Altar Guild members also decorate for Easter and Christmas, participate in the Maundy Thursday service by the stripping of the altar in preparation for Good Friday. We meet two times a year for planning purposes.
